Karim Rabie is a Mobile Broadband professional with more than 13 years of Multivendor experience carrying Consulting, Design, Planning, deployment, Optimization, and Training activities on diverse fields of Mobility and NFV domains.
Karim Rabie was one of the pioneers working in the LTE/EPC domain back to 2009 where he handled the planning for one of the first Commercial LTE deployments in Gulf Region and other several world-wide trials in addition to being one of the first solution architects certified as LTE Specialist.
With the vendor experience working with Huawei, Nokia, & Cisco. Karim led and participated in many of overseas projects with T-Mobile, Ooreedo, Bharti, Zain, Vodafone, Orange, Etisalat, STC & other Operators in Africa and Middle East.
He is the author of Four vendor-agnostic training packs specialized in PS Core Network, LTE/EPC Network, & NFV. Karim provided more than 25 Instructor-led classes in the last four years with audiences from different domains such as PS Core, IP MPLS, & CS/IMS from various Mobile Operators and Service Providers.
With an extensive current work and focus on NFV, Cloud, SDN, & 5G, Karim Rabie a member of NFV Committee responsible of Telco Cloud Design and Cloud Strategy and an OPNFV EUAG member with recent contribution with ETSI NFV ISG.
